The Board of DigiPippi

Eva Fog

Eva Fog

Chairwoman and founder

In a way, it was inevitable that I ended up founding DigiPippi in 2015. As a self-taught girl geek who since the age of 10 has loved computers but never got understood or help pursuing it, I was in many ways the first DigiPippi girl.

After several, not particularly successful, attempts to find a way into the ICT sector, my path turned out as many other women's. I had to create it myself.

My route took its twists and turns through a lot of jobs in computer and mobile sales, and ultimately an education as a Waldorf/ Rudolf Steiner pedagogue and educator. When I subsequently chose to work in the municipal, it was a way to use my nerd stuff and my educational training combined. here, I became aware that very little had changed since I was 10 years old. The boys were considered 'natural' technology users, while the girls backed out.

I continued to teach all the kids, but also began to experiment with gender and skill divided technology education. At the same time, I taught teachers, educators and parents to help them understand and teach to modern children in the brave new world.

In 2015 I received development assistance from the Reach for Change Organization, and organization DigiPippi was born. The DigiPippi girl became DigiPippis mother.

Today I am a specialist in child and IT, with a 360 degree view on them and their world. In DigiPippi my time is used exclusively with girls and women, while I retain the overall perspective through my own company.

What is your education and what do you work with today?
I graduated as MA. in Communications with a BA in Humanistic Informatics. I have always worked with communication and marketing. Mainly with the web, social media and email marketing. A common thread in my work has been IT and tech companies as well as children. I have experience with both national and global business and as an entrepreneur. Both specialist knowledge and how to act quickly are good qualities to have in an organization like DigiPippi.

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?
Making a difference for girls and defeat preconceptions and lack of interest. To open the girls' eyes to the opportunities and abilities that they never knew they had. To convey - perhaps difficult, inaccessible or plain uninteresting - material in a way that many will have the strength to read and look on - and be fascinated!

What is your motivation to be on the DigiPippis board?
I am very focused on girls getting insight into all the things they are capable of! Both abilities and possibilities. I honor diversity and I am 100% convinced that products and services are best when we combine female and male resources and perspectives. Therefore it is important that IT and technology (which becomes a larger and larger part of our society) are introduced to both genders. My motivation is to make DigiPippi the "lead star" that the girls can be inspired by. Show the world of possibilities! Show that IT and tech are not only coding but also creative and innovative processes.

What is your education and what do you work with today?

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?

What is your motivation to be on the DigiPippis board?

What is your education and what do you work with today?

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?

What is your motivation to be on the DigiPippis board?

What is your education and what do you work with today?

Cand. IT. from the IT University. Teacher Graduated from Zahle Working as UX designer and business developer in the entrepreneurial environment.

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?

I love to test the gizmo cots / wearables, code them and do workshops with children and adults and communicate how to use IT creativity in everyday life.

I love to be curious and to create co-creation with others in the technological field. I find myself well as a bridge if it is between the developer and user code or user interface concept or customer.

What is your motivation to be on the DigiPippis board?

To be in DigiPippis Board allows me to build visionary organization for how to get more women into tech.

Develop new workshops, events and relationship management to develop a role model network.

My motivation comes from the fact that I have missed role models the time I even had to make study choices.

We make as much data today, it is important that we have a mindset to navigate it, while maintaining our

authenticity, and here I want to help to create ballast in the young people's own digital story.

As Hodja from Pjort would say, you have dates and you give them all away, you have no dates back. But you have knowledge and

experience on dates, you can share them with a friend and then you have them both.

Rikke Nørdum Sonne

Board member & adviser

What is your education and what do you work with today?

I have both a CBA (accredited e-MBA level) from AVT Business School, and prior business school. Additionally, I am also a trained designer from Margrethe School, and went two years at the school of architecture by then. So little a mixed bag. Have even many years ago worked as a foreign exchange dealer in the spot and forward markets.

Currently works as a consultant in digital strategies in my company CPH Promotion. Ie I typically undergo a company website / communication / use of social media, etc., only to make recommendations on where and how they should optimize. Often I saw hired to do this in practice afterwards. A sort of remote online / digital boss if you can call it. A set of fresh eyes at what an organization doing today.

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?

To be able to immerse myself in things that really interessserer me. Love to work with strategies, which requires market research, reading of countless reports, statistics, etc.. Is like a sponge, and love to seek patterns and crunche large amounts of data.

In addition, I also love to sit and geek out with the web, and works a lot with wordpress.

What is your motivation to be on the DigiPippis board?

Followed Eva in her journey from the very start, which excited me a lot. My own eldest daughter was therefore also children reports on Digipippi TV.

I really committed to getting more women in tech, and place more women in senior positions and on boards in the Danish business community. There needs to be more visible female role models if we are to encourage more young women to choose to take courses in tech.

Has always worked in a “mandeverden”And have experienced both in my distant past as a currency dealer and subsequently in the tech how hard it can be as a woman to be seen, and come out on top.

I will help to change this out in the organizations, in educational institutions and in political terms, I can actively working board member of Digipippi.

Advisory Group for perioden 2019-2020

Janne Aagaard

Founder and owner of Mediekursus.dk

What is your education and what do you work with today?
Media Innovation, training and communication consultancy is my primary work in my own business, Mediekursus.dk. Here is organizing seasoned journalists courses for journalists and communicators, and although I teach at the IT University and the IBA, the diploma program in cross-media marketing. Beside I make podcasts of criminology at Heartbeats.dk. I am trained as a journalist at the School of Journalism with a master's degree in journalism and communication from Australia.

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?
I love to move and challenge people, whether young graduate students or seasoned professionals. To open horizons and show expanse in life.

What is your motivation to participate in DigiPippis Advisory Group?

Mads Vad Kristensen

Contact Director, Peytz & Co
Web: FURTHER

What is your education and what do you work with today?
I originally trained as a journalist, but the last 20 years I have worked with digital product and business development for both Danish and international IT and media companies both as a specialist and as an executive. In recent years I have specialized in the development of business models, and is one of only a few Danes trained intensively by the men behind the Business Model Canvas, Alexander Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur. Today I am a partner in a small agency - FURTHER.

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?

What is your motivation to participate in DigiPippis Advisory Group?
My big interest in DigiPippi comes three places. Firstly - and most importantly - I am a father of two young girls who think technology, robots and everything that you do not just get your hands completely around is exciting. And the interest I would like to encourage the best possible way. Secondly, because I am in my career have enjoyed working with women who in my view always brings a rewarding and more holistic approach to technology and technological development than men. And third, because I am absolutely convinced, as a society we need more women in technology to ensure we are moving in the right direction.

Henriette von Essen-Quiet

Management Consultant, Mercuri Urval

What is your education and what do you work with today?
I have a master's degree in professional communication (MPK) from Roskilde University (2005) and is a certified executive coach (2010)

I have managerial experience from politically led organizations, including as Director and member of the Executive Management at Children's terms from 2014 - 2016, and as head of fundraising and with the management team from 2007 - 2014 by the Danish Refugee Council. Previously, I held management positions at, among others The Royal Theater, Magasin and Radisson SAS.

Since April 2017, I have worked as a management consultant At Mercuri Urval. Here I work with the manager's and leader search, recruitment, leadership development, executive coaching, organizational development and helps especially interested and politically controlled organizations.

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?
I am passionate about working with people and getting others to succeed. I have been focusing on in my many years as a manager, and still have it as a management consultant. In addition to management, is my professional communication, fundraising, branding, recruitment and retention, strategy and organizational development.

Besides my professional life I have - besides DigiPippi - tasks that I work with on a voluntary basis. Here is a selection:
I am the network manager in the network "Strategic Management" under leaders. Here facilitates and I moderate our network meetings, so it is interesting to be and contribute as a member. I am also participating in the Leaders panel that develops, matures and helps start-up companies.
In addition, I am local collection coordinator for the Danish Refugee Council's national collection which takes place every year in November.

What is your motivation to participate in DigiPippis advisory group?

My goal is to help DigiPippis success by bringing my skills, knowledge and networks compared. Organizational development, policy, management, communication and fundraising in the game - and I am looking forward to work.

Mia Eton-McKinsey

Chief Marketing & Communications Officer, Ri A/S

What is your education and what do you work with today?
I graduated in marketing and marketing on the basis of international economic cooperation. Subsequently, I have taken several courses in digitization. Both because it is necessary for my daily professional life, but also because it is a personal interest.

I work as Chief Marketing & Communications Officer in a public accountant specializing in funds.

What gives you the most energy to work with? Your greatest professional interest/ force etc.?

What is your motivation to participate in DigiPippis Advisory Group?
