How doubled ITU number of female students – Vice-President Anette Tvedergaard

The focus is on getting more young people to seek education in IT. There is talk in many parts of the world that we lack skilled workers in IT and tech. It is also the case in Denmark.

Starting Vice President Anette Tvedergaards blog post about something we love to follow in DigiPippi: a success story about getting the young women in games on IT education.

She had visited a communications ITU, Camilla Rosengaard, to talk about how a doubling of the female students was achieved.

From 2016 to 2017, the number of recorded, female students from 11% to 22% on software training

At DigiPippi we have more role models in education at the ITU. Among other things. Board members Mia Meldgaard and Freya Finnsdottir.

We hope with the oars to keep more of our DigiPippi girls the same way.
